I was one of the creative team leaders in the design and
production of instructional media for corporate online courses
including the Lennox T-Class e-Learning module screen to the
right. The screens have:

An industry standard, user friendly layout
•
An easy to use accordion style expandable course directory in
a window on the left easily recognizable with users
•
Common controls using standard readable icons to advance
ahead or backup through the different sections and
control the audio
•
Plenty of space on the right side of the screen for visual aids
in the form of photos, illustrations, and animations produced
in-house. I was a team leader in those efforts.
E-Learning User Interface Design
I was the lead designer/illustrator for the Overhead
Door MX Operator Series e-learning module.
commercial garage door openers. The module won
a pier award among other e-learning modules. The
style of illustration combining line art and partial
shading gave it a unique visual style.

Use of Solidworks models rendered as both line
art and grayscale shading
•
Combined using Photoshop in separate layers
•
Standard user interface using industry standard
layout and simple, recognizable icons to
navigate through each section
E-Learning User Interface Design
At MLink, I did design and print production for NOKIA
Quick Start Guides which were 4 panel printed
brochures packaged with each phone for the user to
quickly learn how to use their phone.

Worked with Instructional Designer on storyboards
•
Design and production of layout, illustrations
and images
•
Used Adobe Illustrator as the tool of choice to
produce final art files, then converted to Print
Ready PDF files for the printer.
